   Hello. What an interesting blog!

   I don’t know very much about KM but it looks like Frito-Lay had a very successful implementation of KM in their organization. I was actually surprised by this success as to me to KM is kind of a scary and somewhat intrusive topic. I’m not so sure that I would have been a happy employee at Frito-Lay ten years ago when management was populating their portal with my info and my areas of expertise!

   However, I think like you said, today with social networking apps, this process would involve the employee more and not be so intrusive. While my organization currently had no KM structure in place, after reading this post, I feel better about it. I’m glad to hear that KM initiatives seem to be more collaborative. I’m also glad to hear about KM success stories. While my organization is still stuck in the “knowledge chaotic” stage, it’s nice to know there is light at the end of road!
